yes ~ i do

end of summer moon

Greater Cormorants flying towards moon, the sun setting behind them

a so simple word, so hard to understand its large power...

.

billboard from old store of small town, now a restaurant.

sun setting on Oct 31, 2009/ where were you
where are you going
after the hectic holidays... dreams be expanded!
.

found "tangles" above.
and growth...s... beautiful color large.
.

sunrise yesterday morning, hit me in the eye ...

coming home on the ferry late the other night, bleary eyed, this light gestured into my camera...
I had walked the ocean for three plus hours... after dropping my husband off for a flight to Boston. I put my cell phone in the breast pocket of an oversized linen shirt, thinking when he lands he will text or call; the phone will vibrate over my boob... (i mean my heart) and i'll know he has landed safely.
Had only walked an hour (it was balmy warm here, and cold there; my mind split between the two places) when i got it. Happily bare foot in warm ocean water, craving, no, dreaming the future, I felt the sound of the sea and the wind and the light had begun erasing in me; delicately emptying my body to an open hollowed space.
It was dark when i got to the ferry. The first night i came home along strange empty streets alone, to an empty house. Beagle bunny is almost blind. Thought i might be frightened out here alone, but I feel more at home, safer and peaceful now.
.
Now to choose a Thanksgiving destination. (Now to pick a paint color). (suggestions)?
...
Yes. Again, its almost Thanksgiving... how I thank you all for being so amazing and creative~! For sharing and giving! Eat a pomegranate for me... what is your favorite Thanksgiving treat? Family...

ps~
I want to say Throw away your tv, yes, for a Christmas gift to yourself.
See how it is... how you are made up of pixels that can imagine a greater world than war violence commercial craving and explosive manipulation of your senses... Manipulate your own senses for your own pleasure by dreaming your own dream... try it! ?
..
Yes. I won again!
I am not so good a winning yet; am going to work on that in 2010

Breathless and wordless. You sometimes leave me with a hum in my chest. Like now. Humming everything I can't speak (write). You build bridges, I think, for souls to visit. I'm in awe. I must come back to share appreciation of your details (so rich). Right now I can't. There is humming :o)
xo. Sending you some (it is endless, you know) I know you know :)

I do believe Paradise is all around us...
it is our angle of observation... concentration... imagination... contemplation... at any given moment that determines our selection on any given day...

... Lovely...

even your sand penmanship is gorgeous.

choosing paint colours, i enjoyed making art on the blank wall with all the paint chips. have fun with summer fruit, autumn rain, berry compote and moonshine.

choosing thanksgiving and family?

all your posts resonate in a million different ways- how did you KNOW?

Birds in the sky, moon suspended up above... these are a magical strip of images to tumble into. Makes me want to head outdoors and crane my neck to see the beauty and wonder that is there above. Thank you.

I adored your story of togetherness and being apart. And savoured the images you planted in my mind :-) blown away. Somewhere over your lake I like to imagine :)
Sending much tenderness your way.

Very positive and thought provoking as always. I am gearing up for the holidays, truth is, I don't always enjoy them anymore, so much work! No TV? I know it would be better for us, but after a long day we use it to zone out! Lovely photos:)
