* "Genius is more often found in a cracked pot than in a whole one."

Not everyone has a writing spider sit down beside her.
Not of this magnificence, at least.  A black cat on her back.
Nature is genius.

She is a bit spiky furry. Known for eating her husband, perhaps those are his hairy legs expressing themselves from inside her?  Should i ask her to shave?

                          [I think not.]

Some Spider symbols/stories

"I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority."

Found the other day, ALLEN GINSBERG'S MIND WRITING SLOGANS. Given to one of his writing students, they closely resemble meditation practice. Translate them to any kind of creative activity, or just Being.

Always,
     Peace to you all.
And a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am closing off my Internet link for November, once a week get mail. Clear the tables and write about my brother, nothing but thought memory and heart; no distractions. Good support falling into place, so it seems ripe, the timing. Not sure I am ready emotionally, but will work on something else if that feels true.

*What will it be like NOT to Google anything or go online for a month? Could you do it?

blessings.
Pumpkin pie whip cream gobble life with hunger joy and gratitude. Do something you wouldn't normally do.  I just looked up and the sky is glowing a very strange pink, a sign for good sailing! I wish you good sailing too, in whatever you do.

Been thinking of you. I've dropped by here and there, sneaking tiny breaks from my self-inflicted tasks.

So now before you shut down (I want to try that sometime), I wanted to make sure to send greetings and thanks for the always lovely and always thought inducing (and often provoking) posts.

I'll be saving the Ginsberg writing link and I still remember the first time I saw one of those circles around the sun (outside my high school in Tallahassee 1973) - unsettling and inspiring. Unfortunately, photos of spiders creep me out. I'm fine when they're 'in situ', not so good elsewhere.

Blessings to you as you dive into quiet and introspection. Surely a precious journey is about to unfold.

Your post here has been of "gold" to me...reminds me of a Leonard Cohen line "There is a crack in everything, that is how the light gets in" or something close to those words.
My best to you for knowing this is the time and having the support to move forward. Best wishes from my heart to yours...November songs.

Oh, what a beautiful spider!
Not that I would like it to sit next to me,
but I would like to draw it!
And your list of wiseness...
I wish you smooth sailing over golden skies
the wind through your hair when you walk on the sand
time to twirl in the shallow water
and time to think of your brother
and write.

Hey Robyn, Thank you, for everything. I am getting rather excited. Everything falling into place! We are cutting my internet link on Monday Morning... that is gonna be strange, no more Googling anything, no peeking on your blog.
Thanda and much production to you in your summer. See you soon.

KVK, thanks for the wonderful words. Precious journey sounds wonderful, and true. it feels i am giving myself back my old rhythms. Will have my Talisman nearby for reminding of how much pain has been released and how much joy--hopefully what i write will tangle the emotions of both and come across into the writing.

The spider is harmless, but you should be terrified of brown recluse, (wood piles, no web) we know someone who lost his son to a brown recluse bite. They are like acid.

Happy delicious Thanksgiving to you. Do I remember you make blueberry tarts? ummm.

Mary Ann from my heart to yours, a Happy Birthday and Thanksgiving. Have been blessed to have this time open up, others willing to help, so I figure why not grab it by the throat and kiss the life out of it! Its mine.

Roxanne, thank you. She is a beauty, I never loved a spider so before. I will be walking in the warm waters and watching the river, there are already so many birds migrating.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Kate, haha. The spider made a web the size of a football player's chest. It was stunning, and you would have said, Oh where is my camera. I am sure you couldn't resist.

Sweet M. I will leave a word here, since I seem to be unable to at your newest post.

I wish you love in November. I don't know where you're going, but I think I recocknize the emotion. I load a soft cloud with empathy and send it over by Rain.
There is no distance.

Take care. xo
