... and say Aaahhhhhhhh yes
Life! Tastes so sweet. Spring is in the air.
.
E. E. Cummings
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Where do we get our courage?
..
I wrote a post to share the gift Kathy of Kvk jewlery designs created, and surprised me with, a special talisman so linked to emotional energy with my brother I simply can not post it yet.
Have to honor it.
Grief is a grumpy old man with dictation rights over the heart.

Aaaah, now that is a healthy mouth!
I love this poem M and am so glad you posted it.
Where do I get my courage? The written word so often gives me courage.
Sending you love and courage.
i hope your grumpy old man is being a little more patient and giving you a little more time and space.
Robyn~
that mouth belongs to Bonzee, a cat i found ematiated and fed; we sort of fell in love with him but left him with our neighborhood and neighbors when we moved.
Thanks for the love and courage. I Thanda you back, and hope your little blog break is fun.
Disa~ yes my grumpy bumpy is giving me some space. I have been actually rather naughty; been induging (and indulged)... living it up too much in some ways, then along comes mr grumpy out of his soul hole... tried to post a blog aout my brother and a gift and there he was, saying no no no...
Spring in the South does help so much!
I wish you courage and more time indulging. I have a grumpy old man in my heart right now. sending sunglow. roxanne
my what bright clean toofers.
such a challenge here, feels like a call to arms. courage and joy and peace and grief and doubt and love and light and forever and now all residing in this rather silly fragile shell. curious.
do you know Michael Hedges version of this poem? lovely
blessings dear one - xo
I wish you strenght and courage.
Your words are wise, his words very beautiful. I admire your ability to sense what's going on inside you, M. That to me is great strenght. Thank you for being here.
Roxanne~
can't keep the indulging up for much longer... need a spring cleaning fast. Maybe our grumpy old men should go out to a grumpy old man's spiritual bar and have a spiritual drink near a spiritual river! :)
This too shall pass, or integrate.
KVK~
i just opened a book at random to passages about spiritual life being full of hours of being thrown between contradictions of self and soul and spirit. all to clean the dross my dear...
he likens it to a zen teaching
that inner teaching is like a "red hot coal being stuck in the throat."
You can't live with it, can't live without it; can't swallow it and can't cough it up. We ARE human and divine.
blessings.
Christine~
Thank you for your beautiful heart. Always. (this one wasn't too hard to feel. it does get easier and also harder but more spread out. :)
blessings.
You have described just a small bit of this thing 'a grieving heart'. I believe in grace...grace gives me courage...grace...usually arrives on the wings of Spring.
Mary Ann~ yes, just a small bit.
Spring is here, almost 80 today and all week a sweet 70's and sun. I'll take the grace. Sending sunlight over on those wings.
my dear m., may i join you and roxanne for a spiritual drink? let's just swim in the spiritual river. we'll drink and drink and dip and dive...
i am having a day of PNI and PMS is peeking its head around the corner.
but thinking of you...
exo xo
Lynne~ O yes, to sip the bliss and swim in it too! A cup of dew to you.
Just got your comment. I was out by the water watching the sun rise, the moon still large, up high in the opposite direction of the river. Everything so still, mirroring the birds flying low, skimming and dipping. Lots of gull cries, and yes I sip and sip with the senses; while you in my mind always walk with your feet in the spiritual river... quenched and quenching others; cheers to you.
Spring in the south might = PNI ! ")
i believe that spring anywhere equals PNI. : )

What a wonderful blog you have. I leave a footprint from Sweden & Agneta. Nice to meet you!
thank you for the wonderful poetry and words-- yes spring is coming- winter being my least favorite season.
love and courage back to you.
Seeing that feline's pearly whites reminded me that I'm overdue to make a vet appointment for my cat! His breath has been none-too-fresh lately (ahem) and I have no one to blame but myself.
