peace and blessings to all who enter here.

Your uplifting thoughts on smiles reminded me of a line in a poem:

"For one white singing hour of peace count many a year of strife well lost, and for a breath of ecstasy, give all you have been or could be."

Do you see me smiling? Buying a ticket to freedom with a smile...such a small and beautiful price...I'm in!

hello again... this is a reply to your comment on my last blog post on the book Masters: Collage...
you asked me what would I choose if I was the curator of a book-- I am afraid it would probably be all the subdued colors, minimal with calligraphy stuff-- which would probably get boring after awhile :-).
Randel Plowman who curated this book looked for a variety of styles, colors, processes, and philosophies--

Do you know the rainy smiles...
After times of tears the sun breaks through again...
Those are among the best smiles.

sometimes
I wonder
where your head
must be
in order to write
like that.

what things are drifting through your world..

it struck me as so profoundly sad.

I hope these days of June bring you smiles and freedom to watch the sunrise and write... roxanne
